Task 5: Develop Proposal on " Automated Toll Collection System".


Project Title : Initiatives "Automated Toll Collection System” Heartland for Increasing Revenue.

Background:

Huge corruption is the abuse of public power for personal interest or gain. For a long period Bangladesh has been recognized globally as a corrupt country . Here the corruption comes under many different guises like bribery, misappropriations of public goods and nepotism. The common observation is the people depriving from their basic services.Therefore, the
automation "Toll collection System" can be reduced corruption and it could be the "Heartland' for increasing revenue for the country. Also the automated toll collection system is to be helped immensely in increasing revenue, and reducing system loss of toll collection for our country. Every country has its own toll system and the amount of money to be paid as toll also differs. With technological advancement, toll management system has also modified. Instead of collecting tolls manually, toll plaza software and electronic toll collection system are set at many centers.In India, many company such as BE software Solution etc provide management and services for toll plaza management solutions. These companies have numerous functions which involve commissioning and testing of electronic toll collection system, revenue management, traffic management, customized software development, electronic security/observation systems, parking toll management software, toll security systems, and evaluation and testing of electronic toll tax collection system. The automated toll collection system helps to increase revenue and o reduce system loss.

Objectives:
